Shoojit Sircar’s eccentric dramedy Gulabo Sitabo has just got the nation humming with its charmingly clever trailer and entertaining skirmish of brains between incredible actor Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana, set to debut on Amazon Prime Video on twelfth June. With expectant remarks going from the special story to the onscreen go head to head, one angle that stood apart has been Amitabh Bachchan’s phenomenal look and air in the film!
With a long facial hair, old school exhibitions, a headscarf and a prosthetically-articulated nose, Bachchan looks totally unrecognizable, and his mark baritone also has been supplanted with a Lucknowi twang to it! Shoojit Sircar and his inventive group amazingly changed the Shahenshah into a bearish elderly person for the film: consolidating demanding long periods of prosthetics, make-up and extended periods of shoot in the searing sun-difficult for any on-screen character!
Gulabo Sitabo is an interesting cut of-life dramedy where Mirza and Baankey, much like Tom and Jerry are novel and unparalleled, companion and adversary, wicked and savvy, close to nothing and huge – everything required to create disarray.
A Rising Sun Films creation, Gulabo Sitabo is coordinated by Shoojit Sircar, composed by Juhi Chaturvedi and delivered by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar. The film will debut only on Amazon Prime Video on June 12, 2020, in excess of 200 nations and domains.
